At Reach school we understand that it is important to develop yourself through careers, employability and enterprise education. It is also vital that you learn about careers and the world of work and develop your career management and employability skills.

As well as offering each student a work related learning placement in career paths such as childcare, mechanics, horticulture, customer service, animal care and hairdressing we also want:

To support you with making decisions about your progression pathways and to investigate different careers. You will take part in different activities and events to help you with this from Year 10 through to Year 11 which might include a visit to a further education establishment or attend a presentation with an employer. You will have access to different online resources to help you with your decision making and to be able to record your skills and experiences on your own individual action plans that Birmingham Careers Service will be supporting you with to ensure that each of you are receiving independent careers service.

Below are just a few examples of the activities that are in place to support you with making decisions about your progression.
