Work Related Learning is a planned activity that uses the context of work to develop knowledge, skills and understanding that will be useful in a working environment.

At Reach we believe that WRL is about having the chance to learn and practice the skills you will need in the workplace. It is a core part of our curriculum and we offer various opportunities for our students to develop these skills in their chosen field.

We currently have student in the following fields: Landscaping, Childcare, Bricklaying, Mechanics, Hair and Beauty and Animal Care.

At Reach school we understand that it is important to develop yourself through careers, employability and enterprise education. It is also vital that you learn about careers and the world of work and develop your career management and employability skills. Students at Reach will receive Independent Careers Advice through Birmingham Careers Service as well as support and guidance to apply, enrol and attend any career related events.
